My Requirements

After-school childcare needed, Tuesday to Thursday (most important), with Monday and Friday possible, around 4:30–7:00 pm, term time only (with possible extra hours during holidays).

Role involves collecting a 5-year-old from an after-school club at St Edward’s First School (pickup approx. 4:30–5:30 pm) and transporting them home to Datchet. Both parents commute. Care required until around 6:30–7:00 pm, including preparing an evening meal.

Duties include school pickup, safe transport, simple meal prep (mix of reheating and basic cooking), and light activities (e.g. reading, crafts, outdoor play). Mileage covered. Occasional variation (with notice) to assist with a second child’s local activity drop-off/collection.

We’re pretty flexible in exact times days and details- just looking for friendly caring nanny to get 5 year old home safely when we are running late. Ideally starting as soon as next week since previous baby arrangement fell though!
