My Experience

I hold a CACHE Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People’s Workforce and a Level 5 Award in SEN Higher Advance, and I am fully trained in safeguarding, paediatric first aid, and food safety. I have extensive experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL), and I work closely with parents and other professionals to ensure every child receives individualised care and support tailored to their needs.
I am dedicated to my own professional development and regularly attend training courses to refresh and extend my knowledge, ensuring that my practice remains current, reflective, and in line with best practice and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
My childcare approach is child-centred, inclusive, and play-based, with a strong focus on learning through play, outdoor experiences, and in-the-moment planning. This supports children’s curiosity, independence, communication, and confidence. I provide a calm, friendly, and structured environment where children feel secure, valued, and encouraged to thrive at their own pace.
I strongly value positive partnerships with parents, recognising that parents know their child best and understand what they want for their child. I work hard to build and maintain these relationships through open communication, daily updates, shared observations, and regular discussions about children’s progress, wellbeing, and next steps. Parental involvement and feedback are always welcomed and respected.
