About Me
My name is Moushmi Vora, and I am a highly experienced and qualified early years practitioner offering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating childminding service. I have over eight years of hands-on experience working with children from birth to five years across nursery and early years settings in London and Watford. I am passionate about supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing during their most important early years, helping them to feel happy, confident, and secure as they grow and learn.
As a parent myself, I understand how important it is to feel confident and reassured about the care your child receives. This personal experience helps me to see childcare from a parent’s perspective and supports me in building trusting, respectful relationships with families.
My Experience
I hold a CACHE Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People’s Workforce and a Level 5 Award in SEN Higher Advance, and I am fully trained in safeguarding, paediatric first aid, and food safety. I have extensive experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL), and I work closely with parents and other professionals to ensure every child receives individualised care and support tailored to their needs.
I am dedicated to my own professional development and regularly attend training courses to refresh and extend my knowledge, ensuring that my practice remains current, reflective, and in line with best practice and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
My childcare approach is child-centred, inclusive, and play-based, with a strong focus on learning through play, outdoor experiences, and in-the-moment planning. This supports children’s curiosity, independence, communication, and confidence. I provide a calm, friendly, and structured environment where children feel secure, valued, and encouraged to thrive at their own pace.
I strongly value positive partnerships with parents, recognising that parents know their child best and understand what they want for their child. I work hard to build and maintain these relationships through open communication, daily updates, shared observations, and regular discussions about children’s progress, wellbeing, and next steps. Parental involvement and feedback are always welcomed and respected.
