We’re a busy, down-to-earth family in Taunton looking for a long-term nanny for our 2-year-old son. He’s a curious, physical, funny little boy who loves diggers, climbing, books, and being outside in all weather.
We’re looking for someone who:
Loves toddlers: You genuinely enjoy the chaos, questions, and cuddles that come with 2-year-olds.
Is safety-first: Paediatric first aid qualified, enhanced DBS checked, and naturally risk-aware. You see the wobbly step before he does.
Gets on the floor: Happy to build train tracks, do messy play, kick a ball, and read The Gruffalo for the 5th time. Energy and enthusiasm essential.
Understands 2-year-old development: You can support speech through play, manage big tantrums calmly, and encourage independence without rushing potty training.
Is reliable: Fridays 9:30am to 12:30noon
We need someone we can count on, rain or shine.
Communicates well: Daily updates, photos, and honesty about the good days and the tough ones.
Must-haves: 2+ years toddler experience, 2 verifiable references, clean driving licence, own car with business insurance preferred.
We offer:£15/hr
