About Me
Hi, I’m a friendly and reliable childminder based in South Bristol. I have over 20 years of experience caring for children, including raising my own two daughters, so I understand how important it is for children to feel safe, comfortable and well looked after.
I provide a calm, home from home environment where children can relax, play and settle in easily. I enjoy spending time with children, whether that is playing, or helping with meals and bedtime routines.
I offer weekday childcare, including overnight stays in my home, where children are given a healthy home made meal in the evening and breakfast in the morning and have their own bedroom to sleep in at night in a cosy routine.
I always aim to be dependable and keep good communication with parents.

My Experience
I have over 20 years of hands-on childcare experience through raising my two daughters, now aged 20 and 13. During this time, I have developed a deep understanding of children’s needs across different developmental stages, from infancy through to teenage years.
My experience includes creating a safe, nurturing, and structured home environment, supporting emotional wellbeing, and encouraging positive behaviour. I have planned and managed daily routines, including meals, school runs, and recreational activities that promote learning and development.
I am confident in handling a range of situations with patience and care, including managing routines, resolving conflicts, and adapting to each child’s individual needs. My long-term experience has strengthened my communication, organisation, and multitasking skills, as well as my ability to build trusting relationships with children and families.
I have also completed a childminding course with Bristol City Council, which has provided me with a strong understanding of childcare standards, safeguarding, and early years development. I am currently in the process of becoming an Ofsted-registered childminder and look forward to my upcoming inspection in May 2026, where I will demonstrate my commitment to providing high-quality childcare in line with regulatory requirements.
My Qualifications
I hold a Level 3 Paediatric First Aid qualification, equipping me with the skills and confidence to respond effectively to emergencies and ensure children’s safety at all times. I have also completed a childminding course with Bristol City Council, providing me with a strong foundation in childcare, safeguarding, and early years development. I have a DBS with barring and am registered on the DBS update service. In addition, I have been awarded a certificate in Introduction to Childminding Practice. I have also completed a HND in Business Administration, which helps me stay organised, manage my business effectively, and communicate professionally with parents.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
- Childminding from £10.00 per hour
I offer overnight childcare at a flat rate of £123 per night (7pm–7am), which includes dinner and breakfast. Overnight care takes place in my home, where children have their own bedroom in a safe, comfortable, and homely environment. My setting is due to be Ofsted registered from June 2026.
For daytime and babysitting services, my rates start from £9 per hour, depending on individual requirements. I offer full day only weekday childcare. My day time open hours are from 8am to 6pm.
Meals and snacks can be included.
I am currently unable to offer funded/free childcare hours until September 2026.
