About Me

Welcome! I am Nikoleta Tsiliviti, a dedicated and caring childminder and founder of the School of Happiness.

I provide a warm, safe and nurturing home-from-home environment for children aged 0–4, where they can feel secure, valued and supported as they grow in confidence, kindness and self-awareness.

I work alone without assistants, ensuring consistent care and strong emotional security for every child. I live with my husband in a family home environment. We do not have any pets in the household, although children may occasionally experience supervised interaction with a friendly neighbour’s cat in the garden.

My setting is guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting learning through play, exploration and everyday experiences. Children enjoy a balance of indoor and outdoor activities, including access to a spacious garden with a playhouse, mud kitchen, sand play and gardening activities.

I believe in strong partnerships with parents and value open communication, regular updates and close collaboration to support each child’s individual needs.

Settling-in sessions are offered and tailored to each child to ensure a smooth transition into my setting.

At the moment, pick-ups and drop-offs are not available.

I believe that nutrition plays a vital role in a child's growth and overall development. All meals and snacks are freshly prepared daily from scratch, following the principles of the Mediterranean diet and where possible, I prioritise organic and free range produce. Mealtimes are a shared journey, where children are enccouraged to explore a wide variety of flavours and textures. I work closely with parents, keeping open communication around each child's needs, developmental stage and weaning journey. Menu is thoughfully adapted and regular updates are shared to support each child's needs and development.

I am fully registered and follow all safeguarding requirements to ensure a safe and caring environment at all times. I maintain comprehensive procedures covering all areas of operation, all of which are documented and shared with parents to ensure full transparency.
