About Me

I believe that the key to a child's happiness is play, whether that's reading books, arts and crafts or going to the park.

I enjoy painting, creating, baking and playing board games. I am happy to bring some workbooks for your child if they have missed out on schooltime, but would need to know the key stage your child is learning at.

I currently am tutoring for a SEND-based business, but am keeping my options open for the school holidays.

I myself have childcare responsibilities but between the hours of 8:30 - 3:00 I am free and able to travel up to 20 minutes from Clacton town centre.

My Experience

I am a qualified SEND tutor, DBS checked, and I can provide my Safeguarding Children level 2 certificates, along with, Prevent Channel and PMAP course, along with:
-Child Protection refresher course
-Autism Awareness
-FGM Awareness

I currently have five months of qualified tutoring and childcare experience, but have previously babysat and cared for children over the last 15 years. I have also taken a PTT (Perceptive trauma Training) course and worked with children who have suffered trauma.

My Availability

I can work emergency weekends if I can sort out childcare ahead of time, the waiting for starting a job full-time would be 2 weeks.

My Fees

Babysitting from £18.00 per hour

I usually provide my own painting and craft supplies, but if a child wishes to bake or go somewhere that involves transport, that the travel cost fees for the child are covered. If you child requires additional educational worksheets, these CAN be provided for via a Twinkl account and access to a printer.
