My Experience

I am an experienced Teaching Assistant currently working in an Outstanding autism specialist school in Liverpool, with over five years of hands-on experience supporting children and young people with a wide range of Special Educational Needs.

My experience includes working with individuals with autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, dyslexia, and global learning delay. I have supported pupils across all age groups, from nursery through to sixth form, which has given me a strong understanding of how needs and communication styles develop over time.

I am confident in adapting my approach to suit each child, whether that involves supporting communication, managing routines, or creating a calm and structured environment. I am experienced in using patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement to help children feel safe, understood, and able to engage at their own pace.

I am passionate about providing supportive, individualised care and bringing a calm, reliable presence to every setting I work in and am currently pursuing my PGCE to become a primary trained SEN teacher.

• 5+ years’ experience as a Teaching Assistant in an Outstanding SEN (Autism) school
• Experienced supporting children with autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, dyslexia, and global learning delay
• Worked across all age groups from nursery to sixth form
• Enhanced DBS (up to date)
• Safeguarding Training – National College

I have a strong understanding of safeguarding practices, behaviour support, and adapting care to meet individual needs. My experience in a specialist setting has equipped me to provide calm, structured, and attentive support for children with a wide range of needs.

My Availability

I am free whenever suits best within the summer holidays, though am available some evenings as well as weekends throughout the week before July. I am looking for anything up to 12 hours per week.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
