I am a play advocate and Leeds Beckett University graduate. My experience in childcare encourages me to wear many different hats, from an artist to performer, from teacher to activity coordinator, and from a listening ear to a helping hand. As someone who identifies as neurodivergent, I recognise that the world as it is isn’t always accommodating, and that patience and a different way of approaching things can be incredibly valuable skills.
My Experience
I have been working with children for nearly 10 years, between gym coaching, after school clubs, public events and nurseries (including SEND nursery rooms). I graduated first class with honours in Childhood, Development and Playwork, and am currently a full-time forest school practitioner.
My Qualifications
I have a first class with honours in Childhood, Development and Playwork, and have completed training courses such as adult and child first aid, food and hygiene, safeguarding, FGM, and Makaton level 1.
