About Me
Hi I'm Eloise! I'm an experienced Nanny who loves creativity, play and nature and I'm hoping to work here in the UK.
I primarily work in the arts, including recently as a performer and technical support intern for Curious Legends, a puppetry theatre company. In this role I led workshops for children and the public, and co-created improvised performances with children.
I have experience teaching and tutoring children while working as a volunteer after-school English teacher in Hai Phong, Vietnam. In this role I researched, prepared and presented classwork and presentations, teaching English students aged 4-17 years old in private, paired or group classes of up to fifteen students. I engaged students by creating learning activities that were interesting and relevant for each group or individual.
I am confident working with children and youth and would love to help out where I can!
My Experience
I have professional experience full-time Nannying for a family with a 7 year old girl and 4 year old boy over the Canadian summer (3 months). I also did some cleaning and housekeeping during the day when the children were occupied. We played lego, invented games, blaked and cooked together, and would go on trips into town and to local beaches.
I also have experience with younger toddlers and babies. I have been taking care of my nephews (now 1 years old and 3 years old) since the eldest was 1 year old when my sister is in the office. I am confident changing nappies, bathing, feeding and putting young children to sleep.
My Qualifications
I have a Bachelor of Social Science (Environment and Society Major) from The University of Queensland.
From Australia, I have my First Aid and CPR certificate, full unrestricted driver's licence, National Disability Scheme Worker's Clearance and Working with Children Check.
My Availability
I have full availablty once my visa is processed in early June. I am applying for an UK Ancestry Visa with view to permanent residency in the UK. The visa does not require sponsorship and grants full, unrestricted right to work, although I need a job offer as part of the application.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
- Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)
I am hoping to start with a base rate of £13/ph and am happy to negotiate fees.
