About Me
I am a secondary Headteacher who has a busy professional schedule. I have recently divorced and the children spend time between both homes. I am a flexible, and supportive employer who gives back just as much I gain. Sadly my current nanny who has been with us 2.5 years has accepted a position closer to home. We are all going to miss her but my girls are now at a different stage in their lives so we are seeing this an opportunity! We also have 5 cats ?
My Requirements
Because of my role, flexibility is really important as sometimes things can come up or I need to stay late etc for events. This worked really well with my previous nanny as we agreed a set number of hours each week and whilst there was a default working pattern, we flexed this on a weekly basis so the pay was consistent but it provided the flexibility I needed. Alongside taking the children to school and activities, cooking, cleaning and doing their laundry, she also did general housekeeping, food shopping, and helped me as a personal assistant. I have three girls (16, 14 and 12). The eldest has autism and ADHD but is exceptionally bright and articulate and has no learning needs. However, she responds really well to someone empathetic, kind and is very intuitive about people. There are some needs that any nanny would need to be aware of - not in a way that requires any specialist knowledge or experience but to understand the demands. The other two are equally bubbly, bright and have a full extra curricular schedule so a clean driving licence and a car is a must. At the moment they spend half the week with me and half with their Dad, however in practice this can be more with me and my eldest particularly needs flexible about where she stays. I can be flexible with hours in terms of people looking for part time or full time and I can be flexible on days. Best thing to do is reach out as it’s difficult to indicate on the below table what the reality is or could be!
