Part Time Nanny Job in Wakefield
About Me
I’m a single mum to a bright, energetic three-year-old, and I’m looking for a nanny who can become a steady, positive presence in our day-to-day life. My home is warm, structured, and focused on creating a safe, happy environment where my child can learn, play, and feel secure.
I value reliability, clear communication, and someone who genuinely enjoys working with children—not just supervising them, but engaging, teaching, and supporting their development. My child thrives with routine, creativity, and patience, so I’m looking for someone who can bring calm energy while still making the day fun and stimulating.
I’m building stability for our future, so having the right person in this role matters a lot to me. In return, I aim to be fair, respectful, and easy to work with. I appreciate honesty and mutual trust, and I want this to feel like a positive working relationship—not just a job.
My Requirements
I’m looking for a nanny to provide consistent, home-based care for my three-year-old with the following schedule:
* Monday & Friday: 9:00am – 8:00pm (full-day care at home)
* Thursday: Nursery pick-up at 1:00pm, followed by care at home until 8:00pm
Duties include:
* Preparing and providing meals:
* Lunch and dinner on Monday and Friday
* Snack and evening tea on Thursday
* Engaging in age-appropriate activities (play, learning, routine-based care)
* Taking my child out for activities (e.g. park, soft play, etc.) – I’m happy to cover reasonable costs within an agreed limit
* Bath time as part of the evening routine
* Light housekeeping related to the child, including tidying up after activities, meals, and themselves during the day
* Maintaining a safe, clean, and structured environment
Reliability and punctuality are very important, especially for nursery collection on Thursdays.
