Part Time Nanny Job in London
About Me
We are a young family based in Notting Hill, with our 2-year-old son, Rhodes. We’re a relaxed but structured household and value calm, consistency, and emotional awareness in our parenting.
Rhodes is a happy, active little boy who loves being outdoors, playing, and engaging with people. He thrives with routine and clear, gentle boundaries.
Mum is currently at home full-time, and Dad travels frequently for work, so we are looking for additional support to help create a more balanced and sustainable routine.
We’re friendly, respectful, and easy to work with, and are looking for someone who can become a trusted and valued part of our day-to-day life.
My Requirements
Part-Time Nanny – Notting Hill (2-Year-Old)
We are looking for a warm, reliable and proactive part-time nanny to help care for our son, Rhodes, who has just turned 2.
Location: Notting Hill, London
Hours
We are currently looking for:
* 2 mornings per week (8:00am – 12:00pm)
* With one morning extending to around 1:30/2:00pm for light meal/snack prep
There is potential to increase hours over time (e.g. additional mornings or a full day), but initially we would like to start with a smaller, consistent structure while everyone settles in.
About the role
Rhodes is an active, affectionate and strong-willed toddler, so we are looking for someone who is:
* Calm, confident and proactive
* Comfortable taking the lead
* Able to manage transitions and big emotions with a steady approach
* Happy to get out and about (walks, playground, local activities)
Additional responsibilities
Alongside childcare, we would love support with:
* Preparing simple, healthy meals/snacks for Rhodes
* Occasional batch prep (e.g. easy freezer snacks, lunches)
* Keeping his spaces tidy and organised
Rate
* £15–£16.50 per hour, depending on experience
Additional
* Occasional evening babysitting would be a bonus
* Open to a nanny share for the right fit
If this sounds like a good fit, we would love to hear from you.
