About Me
Hello, we are a family of four looking for a reliable and caring childminder from September onwards for wraparound childcare. Or just a childminder for my daughter weekdays only and term time only. As I work for an independent school which usually just five weeks on and two weeks off as I have more holidays however you will always get the 30 hours funding which would cover the majority of the time as my husband would take our children one day a week.
We have:
• A son aged 6 years old who attends school he will be 7 in September.
• A daughter who will be turning 1 in September
We are looking for someone who may be able to assist with school drop-offs/pick-ups and childcare support during working hours. Ideally based around the SE22 area or nearby. However if this is not possible the most important job is for my daughter to be looked after from 7:45am or 7:50am up until 4:00pm or 4:30pm as my son can attend breakfast and after school club which is something ideally I am looking at. However, if you can do both that’s amazing if not as mentioned the most important plan of action is to find Someone for my daughter. I’m looking for a nurturing person that would look after my daughter like their own!

Hours would usually be from 7:45/7:50am until 4:00/4:30pm, minimum 4 days a week, as my husband is able to care for the children one day per week. I would always let you know one week before as that’s how his timetable and schedule work I’m organised and would always give a timetable for clarity.
I am a teacher working in an independent school, so this would be term-time only. My schedule is typically 4–5 weeks on and then 2 weeks off during school holidays. A bit different from the normal setup of local authority or Academy schools regardless you will always get the funding but it will be less than the usual. if you are interested, I will give you the Calendar and you can clearly see it’s a very short time.
We are ideally looking for someone who accepts 30 hours funding, and we can work out the remaining details from there.
