I am Ruth, a mother of three, a primary school teacher and have lived in Codsall throughout my life. After a long and fulfilling career in education, I chose to transition into childminding to continue supporting children’s development within a more personal, home?based environment. I am community?focused, committed to providing high?quality care and dedicated to building strong relationships with local families. Outside of work, I enjoy walking, spending time with my family and sharing life here in Codsall with my husband, Andrew.
My Experience
With over 20 years of experience in education, I have developed a strong understanding of how children learn, grow and thrive. My teaching background has equipped me with the ability to support a wide range of needs, create structured yet nurturing environments and build positive relationships with children and families. I am committed to providing high?quality care that balances learning, play and emotional wellbeing. I bring a calm, consistent and child?centred approach to everything I do.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Welcome both privately-funded families and those accessing government early-years funding.
I accept all government early-years funding, including:
• 15 and 30 hours for working parents
• Universal 15 hours for 3–4-year-olds
• Funded places for eligible 2-year-olds
• The expanded entitlement for children aged 9 months and over
