My Requirements

Hello,

I am looking for a child-minder to help me accommodate after school swimming lessons.

This will be very 'ad-hoc' as due to the nature of my work being 12 hour shifts, I care for my children following a dynamic schedule sometimes in the week and sometimes at the weekend. This is easier to explain directly.

Our main needs are for a child-minder On Thursday evenings during term time to attend my home, ideally, and supervise my sons for around 2/3 hours whilst I take my daughter to her swimming lesson in Forres and back again. The swimming lesson is at 18:00 and is too late for her younger siblings to be travelling on long car journeys during the school week.

The children will have been given dinner prior to the lesson, so all I need is for the right person to come over and play with them for a few hours. Some of this can simply be supervising them during 'screen time' (TV or personal tablet device).

The youngest is progressing through potty training. Virtually dry in the day and knows the toilet routine. He can make mistakes, as to be expected of his age, when he is tired. Due to the brief periods I need help, I will likely just put some pull-ups on him (to start with) before I leave and we can progress from there.

So this is an easy gig, but essential to my children's welfare. My daughter shouldn't miss swimming lessons but my sons should not be travelling in the car at that time of night really.

I have been struggling to find someone due to the rural location and 'ad hoc' nature of our needs.

Likely time of need will be on occasional Thursday evenings between 17:00 and 19:30.

First time we need this will be 21.05.26. I would of course like the children to meet the carer before hand too.

Additional notes:

- Open to taking the children to the child-minder's place of residence if appropriate, in Lossiemouth close to my home and following a visit with me for their and the child-minder's reassurance ahead of any arranged dates.

- The need to add on a similar setup on Tuesdays for my eldest son's swimming lessons is also an option.
