About Me

I’m Jamie, a 23-year-old tutor and babysitter based in Aberdeen. I am passionate about providing a high-quality service that combines fun with teaching, empowering students to take control of their own learning. My services have delivered consistently high results in students ages 4 up to 16. I can provide sessions online or face-to-face, and am a member of the PVG scheme cleared to work with children and vulnerable adults.

My Experience

I have 4 years experience in childcare: 3 years as a private tutor, and 1 year in a nursery. I am highly experienced in working with students with additional support needs, and am passionate about ensuring these students are not left behind. I am also experienced in working with children for whom English is an additional language, and know A2 French and basic Russian to help with this.

My Qualifications

Azilo Advanced Child Protection award, Open University course on Rights Respecting in Residential Care, Azilo Child Development pre-birth to 5.

Brilliant Tutor helps with confidence

Jamie tutored my son for his Nat-5 examinations in English, Maths and sciences. During his time with Jamie, my son gained lots of confidence and became confident in class with putting his hand up to ask questions and seek assistance from the teacher when he was wrong. He made lots of progress and I am very happy!
