After School Nanny with Special Needs Experience Job in South Ockendon
About Me
I work full time mostly from home. I have a wonderful 5 year old daughter and I am looking for a caring and reliable after-school nanny to support us Tuesday to Friday, from 2.30pm to 6:00pm in our home. I need someone who drives that can pick her up from pre-school
My daughter is currently in pre-school and has a diagnosis of autism and is pre-verbal. She is a happy, affectionate, and loving little girl who enjoys looking at books, painting, spinning, jumping and being outdoors. She thrives in a calm, supportive environment and benefits from consistency and patience.
My Requirements
After-School Nanny Required (Tuesday–Friday, 2.30pm –6pm)
I am looking for someone who is:
• Kind, patient, and understanding
• Experienced with (or open to learning about) supporting children with additional needs, particularly autism
• Able to build a strong, trusting relationship with my daughter
• Playful and engaging, following her interests while gently supporting her development
• Reliable and punctual
The role will involve:
• Collecting my daughter from pre-school but to start with we could do this together until she feels comfortable ( open to discussion about this)
• Providing a safe and nurturing environment at home
• Engaging her in play and activities she enjoys
• Supporting her routine and any additional needs
• Preparing some light snacks after pre-school
Experience with SEN (Special Educational Needs) is desirable but not essential for the right person with the right attitude.
If you are warm, dependable, and genuinely enjoy supporting children to thrive, I would love to hear from you.
