Part Time Nanny Job in London
About Me
Hi everyone,
We are looking for a kind, experienced nanny for our child under 4 years old.
Role details:
* Days/hours : Mon–Tue, 8:00am–7pm or Thursday- Friday 8am- 7pm
* Start date: May
* Duties: Full childcare, outings/activities, meal prep for the child/family, laundry and light tidying related to them.
For peace of mind, as part of our process we will be asking for:
- Enhanced DBS (ideally on the update service).
- Minimum 7 years childcare experience.
- Paediatric first aid.
- At least 2 strong recent references (we will speak directly with families).
- Right to work in the UK.
- We’ll ask for copies of certificates and ID as part of the process.
We’re looking for someone warm, proactive, and engaging — ideally someone who enjoys getting out and about, planning activities, and supporting early development.
In particular, we’d love someone who can:
- Plan age-appropriate activities (creative play, reading, simple learning games)
- Support speech and language development
- Encourage social skills, routine, and independence
- Take them to local classes, parks, and playgroups
Background in early years (e.g. nursery, EYFS approach), experience with toddlers (2–4 years) and a focus on structured activities / development would be a big plus.
We’ll also arrange a paid trial to make sure it’s a great fit both ways.
If this sounds like you — or if you can recommend someone excellent — please message or apply me with your experience and availability.
Personal recommendations are especially appreciated.
Thank you!
