My Experience

Before qualifying as a nurse in 2019, I spent ten years babysitting - so my hands-on experience with children goes back well over a decade. Since qualifying I have been working at Great Ormond Street Hospital, one of the world's leading children's hospitals, as a paediatric nurse. I particularly love supporting new mums in those early weeks - sometimes you just need someone to take the baby for two hours so you can sleep, eat, or exist as a human being again. My clinical background means you can truly switch off knowing your baby is in expert hands.

My Qualifications

I am a dual-qualified Registered Nurse (adult and paediatric), having qualified in Dublin in 2019. I hold a current NMC registration and an enhanced DBS check through my role at Great Ormond Street Hospital. As part of my role at GOSH I am trained in Paediatric Basic Life Support and maintain all mandatory clinical competencies required to work in one of the world's leading children's hospitals. I have additional experience in complex needs, disability care, and neurodivergent-affirming practice.

My Availability

My availability changes week to week due to my shift pattern at GOSH, so I'm unable to offer fixed recurring slots. I am available on a flexible, ad hoc basis and am most frequently free during the day. I can often accommodate bookings at short notice and happy to do overnighters too! I'm based in Dalston and happy to travel across east and north London by bike. Please message me to check current availability or you have something in mind.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £25.00 per hour

My standard rate is £25/hr for general babysitting and daytime newborn support. Maternity nurse shifts and complex needs care are charged at £30/hr.
