I’m a patient and caring person who really enjoys spending time with children and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. In my free time, I love cooking and baking, especially trying out new recipes, and I’m always happy to get children involved. I also spend a lot of time gardening and looking after my orchard, so I enjoy encouraging outdoor play.
My Experience
I’ve had plenty of hands-on childcare experience from raising my four daughters, who are all grown up now, so I understand the needs of children at different ages. I’m confident with day-to-day routines like school pick-ups and drop-offs, cooking meals and making sure children feel safe and comfortable. I also enjoy keeping children engaged with simple, fun activities like baking, as well as encouraging outdoor play and getting them involved in things like gardening. I currently work as household help, which means that I am comfortable helping around the house too.
My Qualifications
I have completed a basic first aid course and have a good understanding of how to respond in emergency situations.
