My Experience

I’m confident managing daily routines including meals, naps, and bedtime, as well as keeping children engaged through play, creative activities, and outdoor time.
I have supported children with different personalities, needs and behaviours, and I’m comfortable adapting my approach to suit each child. I focus on creating a calm, positive environment and use gentle, consistent strategies to support behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
I also have experience caring for multiple children at once, ensuring each child feels included, safe and supported. I am confident working independently in family homes and following parents routines and preferences closely.

My Qualifications

I hold an SCQF Level 7 qualification in Social Services for Children and Young People, along with training in safeguarding (GIRFEC), health and safety, and food hygiene. I have around 8-9 years experience working as a nursery practitioner, supporting children aged 6 months to 12 years, as well as over 11 years of babysitting experience for family and close family friends. I am also a parent to two children aged 6 and 2, which has further strengthened my understanding of children’s needs, routines, and development. I am PVG checked and confident in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of all ages

My Availability

I am unavailable during weekday school drop off and pick up times due to collecting my own children. However, I am available during weekdays outside of these times, as well as having more flexibility on evenings and weekends.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

I currently charge £13 per hour for one child, with an additional £2 per hour for each extra child. I’m happy to discuss rates depending on hours, regular bookings, or specific requirements. My goal is to provide reliable, high quality childcare at a fair and affordable rate for families.
