My Experience

I have hands-on experience working within early years settings, where I supported the day-to-day care and development of young children. During my time working within a nursery setting, I assisted with preparing food, supporting children during mealtimes, and ensuring a safe and hygienic environment. I was also responsible for helping to settle babies and young children to sleep, providing comfort and reassurance to meet their individual needs.
I contributed to general nursery duties, including setting up activities, maintaining clean and organised spaces, and supporting children’s play and learning in a nurturing and engaging way. Through this role, I developed strong skills in teamwork, communication, and safeguarding awareness.
In addition to my nursery experience, I have run a home baking business which is local authority registered, fully insured, and holds a 5-star hygiene rating. This role required a high level of organisation, time management, and strict adherence to food safety standards.
As a mother of four children, including two with additional needs, I bring extensive personal experience in supporting children with autism and ADHD. This has strengthened my ability to remain patient, adaptable, and responsive to each child’s unique needs, creating a supportive and inclusive environment.

My Qualifications

I hold a TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Introducing Caring for Children and Young People, which has provided me with a strong foundation in child development, safeguarding, and supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.
I have practical experience working within an early years setting. Where I assisted with food preparation, supported children during mealtimes, settled babies and young children to sleep, and carried out general nursery duties to maintain a safe, caring environment.
Alongside this, I have completed a range of professional training courses to further develop my knowledge and skills within childcare and early years practice.
I also previously ran a home baking business which is local authority registered, fully insured, and holds a 5-star hygiene rating. This has strengthened my organisation, time management, and food safety knowledge.
As a mother of four children, including two with additional needs, I have extensive personal experience supporting children with autism and ADHD. This has given me a strong understanding of inclusive care, patience, and adapting approaches to meet individual needs.
I hold an enhanced DBS certificate.

My Availability

I am available to work between 9:30am and 2:30pm, four days per week, on a term-time basis. I am flexible with the specific days and can adapt to meet the needs of the setting where possible.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour

My rate is £14 per hour, offering reliable, high-quality care tailored to each child’s individual needs.
