My Experience

I have plenty of practical experience bringing up and spending time with children. I have an 18-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old stepdaughter, whom I have been supporting and engaging with for years. I regularly do drawing lessons, play educational games to develop logic, memory and speech, and read books in Russian together with my stepdaughter, followed by discussions and analysis of what we have read. We speak mostly Russian, but I can easily switch to English whenever needed. Over time, I have learnt how to find the right approach for different ages and characters, and how to turn learning and development into an enjoyable and effective process. My background in art helps me make all activities bright, varied and useful for children’s overall growth.

My Qualifications

I have a secondary art education, which enables me to run fun, engaging creative sessions that help children develop their imagination, fine motor skills and artistic sense. Over the years raising two children of different ages, I have gained extensive practical knowledge and a clear understanding of how children grow, what they need and what interests them at every stage. I am a native Russian speaker and also speak English at an intermediate level, so I can communicate easily with both children and parents, as well as support language learning and practice. While I do not hold formal childcare certifications, my years of hands?on experience, sense of responsibility, caring attitude and creative approach ensure safe, reliable and high?quality care and activities.

My Availability

I am available on weekdays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and also from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm. At weekends, I am fully free all day Saturday. Sundays are usually my rest day, but I can consider special or occasional requests if arranged well in advance. I am always happy to discuss and adjust the schedule or terms to suit your family’s needs.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £9.00 per hour

My rates vary according to the time of day and type of service provided:

• Standard hours (weekdays 9:00–15:00, all day Saturday): £8–9 per hour

• Evening hours (weekdays 20:00–22:00): £9–10 per hour

• Specialised creative or educational sessions only: £10–11 per hour
Prices can also be adjusted slightly if caring for more than one child or if extra tasks are required. All terms and final costs are discussed and agreed upon in advance to avoid any misunderstandings.
