Long-Term Live-In French-Speaking Nanny Caring for One 2-Year-Old
About Me
I am a single working mum to a lovely 2-year-old daughter, and I am looking for a kind, warm and experienced French-speaking nanny to join our little family on a long-term basis.
I work full-time, so finding the right person is incredibly important to me. I am not simply looking for someone to provide childcare while I am at work; I would love to find someone who can build a genuine bond with my daughter and become a trusted and valued part of her everyday life as she grows.
We are based in the CM8 area and the usual working hours would be Monday to Friday, approximately 8am–6pm.
My preference is for a live-in nanny and comfortable accommodation will be provided. Although you would be living in our home, I strongly believe in respecting your privacy, personal time and time off. I want the person who joins our family to feel comfortable, welcomed and valued in our home.
Fluent French is very important to me. I would love my daughter to grow up with French as a natural part of her everyday life. Ideally, I am looking for someone who is happy to speak predominantly French with her throughout the day not in a formal teaching environment, but naturally through conversation, play, books, songs, meals, outings and everyday routines.
At two years old, she is at such an important and exciting stage of her development, and I would love to find someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with young children planning age-appropriate activities, reading together, going to parks and toddler groups, encouraging her curiosity and helping her develop confidence and independence.
I am looking for someone warm, patient, affectionate, dependable and genuinely passionate about caring for young children. Toddler experience is particularly important to me, along with good communication and a responsible approach to childcare.
Most importantly, I am looking for stability and consistency. This is a genuine long-term position, and I am committed to building a positive, respectful and trusting relationship with the right nanny. I understand how important a nanny can become in a child's life, and I want you to feel that the care, time and energy you give to my daughter are genuinely appreciated.

My Requirements
I am looking for a long-term, full-time French-speaking nanny, preferably live-in, to care for my 2-year-old daughter in our home. The usual working hours will be **Monday to Friday, approximately 8am–6pm.
This is a long-term position, and I am hoping to find someone who will become a consistent and trusted presence in my daughter's life as she grows.
The role will involve providing attentive and loving care throughout the day, preparing her meals and snacks, following her routine, taking her to age-appropriate activities and toddler groups, going to the park and on outings, reading and playing with her, and supporting her learning, confidence and development.
French is a very important part of the role. I am ideally looking for someone who is a native French speaker or completely fluent in French and who is happy to speak predominantly French with my daughter throughout the day. I would like her to learn naturally through everyday conversation, play, books, songs, meals and activities rather than through formal lessons.
I am looking for someone who has good experience caring for toddlers and who is warm, patient, affectionate, responsible and dependable. Reliability is particularly important because I work full-time and need someone I can genuinely trust and depend upon.
Ideally, you will have an up-to-date DBS check, paediatric first-aid training and strong, checkable references from previous childcare positions.
I would also like someone who is confident taking my daughter out and planning enjoyable, age-appropriate activities rather than staying at home all day. Someone proactive who enjoys finding toddler groups, parks, classes and other opportunities for her to learn, play and socialise would be ideal.
Live-in is my preference, and comfortable accommodation will be provided. I will respect your privacy and personal time outside your agreed working hours. I want this to be a positive and respectful working arrangement where you feel comfortable and valued in our home.
Most importantly, I am looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being around young children and would like to build a warm, secure and lasting relationship with my daughter.
