My Summary

My Experience

I hold a Level 3 Preparing to Work with Children qualification and have gained a wide range of hands-on childcare experience across different age groups. I spent a year working in a primary school Reception class, where I supported children throughout their daily routines, helped with learning and development activities, assisted with phonics, reading, writing and early maths, and encouraged children to become more independent. I also supported children with personal care, mealtimes, outdoor play and transitions throughout the day. Working in Reception taught me the importance of patience, consistency and adapting my approach to suit each child’s individual personality, confidence and developmental stage.

I then spent a year working in a nursery toddler room, which gave me valuable experience caring for younger children and supporting their early development. My responsibilities included helping with feeding and mealtimes, nappy changes and personal care, sleep and nap routines, settling children who were upset, and maintaining a safe, clean and stimulating environment. I planned and supported age-appropriate activities including messy play, sensory activities, stories, singing, music, creative activities and outdoor play.

Alongside my experience, I have cared for my three nieces and two nephews for the past 12 years. Being involved in their lives from a young age has given me extra experience caring for children at different developmental stages and understanding that every child has their own personality, routine and individual needs. I have supported with feeding, bedtime routines, play, outings, school-related activities and general day-to-day care, as well as providing comfort, reassurance and encouragement when needed.

Together, my professional and personal experience has given me a strong understanding of childcare, from caring for younger children and supporting their early development to helping older children learn and become more independent.

NCFE CACHE Level 3 Certificate in preparing to work in early years education and care.

Certificate in Paediatric First Aid

Enhanced DBS check

My Availability

I’m very flexible with my availability and am generally open to working at different times and on different days. I’m happy to discuss your family’s individual needs and can often accommodate early starts, late finishes and occasional changes to your usual schedule where possible.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
• Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)

I’ve set my rates on my profile but honestly I’m open to changing if the job is fits right
