About Me
We are a warm, loving family based in Manchester with our 28-month-old son, who is our only child. He is at a curious, active and affectionate stage, and we absolutely adore him.
We’re not quite ready for him to attend nursery full-time, but we are very keen for him to continue to thrive, develop and be gently guided in the best possible way during these early years. Creating a nurturing, calm and engaging environment for him at home is really important to us.
We value a play-based, child-led approach and are looking for someone who shares this mindset—someone who will take the time to talk, play, read and explore with him, and support his development in a natural, pressure-free way.
We are looking for someone who will feel like a positive and trusted presence in our home, and who genuinely enjoys building a bond with a young child and supporting their early development with care and enthusiasm.
My Requirements
We are looking for a kind, experienced and engaging nanny with a strong EYFS background to care for our 28-month-old son in our home in Manchester.
This role is centred around supporting his development through play-based, age-appropriate activities. We are particularly keen to find someone who genuinely understands early childhood development and can confidently support language, early numeracy and pre-literacy skills through play, rather than formal teaching.
Our son is at a lovely, curious stage, so we’re looking for someone who will talk, play, read, and interact with him in a way that builds his confidence and love of learning.
What we’re looking for:
* Proven experience with children aged 0–3
* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
* Background in a nursery, early years setting, or similar
* Someone warm, patient, and naturally engaging with toddlers
* Able to plan simple, fun, developmentally appropriate activities
* Reliable, proactive, and genuinely enjoys working with young children
