My Experience

In 2024, I worked as a part-time nanny for a lovely family caring for a little boy of 10 years. My responsibilities included school pick-ups, preparing dinners, helping with homework, organising activities and spending quality time with him after school. The family also had a dog, which I loved taking on walks too.

I have also completed work experience in my school nursery, where I supported younger children through play, learning activities and daily routines. In addition, I have experience babysitting family members and younger cousins aged 10 and 12.

Through these experiences, I’ve developed strong communication skills, patience, responsibility and the ability to build positive relationships with children of different ages.

My Qualifications

I am currently undertaking an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Heriot-Watt University. My studies have helped me develop a strong understanding of child development, behaviour, communication and emotional wellbeing.

I have also completed Paediatric First Aid training and a nannying course.

My Availability

I am available any weekday and some weekends for extra help or babysitting.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.75 per hour
• Nannying from £13.75 per hour (gross)

At my previous nannying job I was paid £13.75 an hour.
