My Requirements

We are looking for a reliable, positive, and experienced individual who genuinely enjoys being around children and can become a natural, trusted presence in their day-to-day routine. This is a regular, long-hour childcare role within a supportive and respectful household.

We have four children, however the role is very manageable. The main responsibility would be caring for our youngest child. You would not be expected to have sole responsibility for all four children, aside from times when they are playing together in the garden, where we would simply ask you to keep an eye on them while they play.

Our eldest children are largely independent, while our youngest is still closely attached to me. I would love for her to gradually gain confidence spending more time outdoors, playing, and engaging with someone kind, patient, and consistent.

The role is centred around play, creativity, and meaningful interaction, particularly with our youngest. We are also looking for someone who is happy to help with tidying, cleaning up after play, and organising the children’s toys and play areas.

There are no expectations for cooking, bathing, or sole full-time responsibility for all children. We value flexibility, good energy, and someone who can confidently step in where needed while maintaining a calm, positive, and caring atmosphere.
