Beata
Babysitter in Oxford
My Summary
About Me
I’m a passionate part-time babysitter who recently moved to Oxford from the United States for graduate studies. I have always loved working with children and see babysitting as a meaningful way to support families and be part of a child’s growth and development.
I enjoy building strong relationships with children and creating a warm, engaging, and dependable environment where they feel safe, supported, and happy. Depending on the child's stage of development, I often emphasize creative play, reading, outdoor activities, crafts, and helping children explore the world around them in age-appropriate ways.
Now that I’m settled in Oxford, I would love to connect with one or two local families whose children I can develop relationships with and invest in.
I’m happy to work both independently and collaboratively with parents, depending on each family’s preferences and routines. While my primary focus is always the children, I’m also very attentive to the overall needs of the household and am happy to help with light child-related chores, tidying, etc. during naps or downtime.
Please feel free to reach out if you think I might be a good fit for your family — I would love to arrange a chat or interview!
My Experience
I have 15+ years of babysitting and childcare experience working with infants, toddlers, and school-age children in both regular and occasional babysitting roles.
Most recently, I worked closely with a family caring for their 1.5-year-old and 3-year-old children 4–6 days per week. In this role, I supported daily routines, creative play, meals, naps, outings, and bedtime routines while also working collaboratively with the parents to help ease the flow of the household. I regularly assisted with child-related tidying and organisation and adapted to the changing needs of the family.
In addition to general childcare, I also have experience supporting children with: special needs, complex health issues, and food allergies/dietary restrictions.
Through my years of childcare experience, I’ve learned the importance of patience, consistency, communication, and creating a calm and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable and encouraged to grow.
