Hello, I'm Rachel - an experienced Career Nanny & Family PA with 16 years of professional childcare experience.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of caring for children from infancy through to the teenage years, supporting a wide range of families and helping children grow, learn and thrive in their own individual way.

For me, being a nanny is about much more than simply looking after children. I aim to become a trusted and reliable part of family life - someone parents can genuinely depend on to provide attentive childcare, take initiative and help make everyday life run more smoothly.

My childcare experience

I provide warm, calm and engaging care tailored to each child's individual needs, personality and developmental stage. I enjoy getting children outdoors, exploring, being creative, playing and making the most of their interests.

My experience includes:

Family PA & household support

Alongside childcare, I'm particularly interested in roles that combine nannying with practical family assistance and household organisation.

I enjoy taking a proactive approach, helping families stay organised and ensuring the practical details of everyday life are taken care of.

My support can include:

- Family meal planning and preparation
- Batch cooking and preparing homemade baby and toddler food
- Food shopping, shopping lists and family errands
- Children's laundry, bedding and clothing organisation
- Keeping children's bedrooms, playrooms and play areas tidy
- Organising toys, books, wardrobes and children's belongings
- Managing family diaries, appointments and activities
- Managing deliveries and coordinating household services
- Preparing school bags, nursery bags and essentials for outings
- Organising for holidays, trips and changing seasons
- Preparing meals, activities and household essentials for the days ahead

I'm naturally proactive and organised. I don't simply wait to be given a list of jobs - I like to anticipate what needs doing, take ownership of agreed responsibilities and find practical ways to make family life easier.

My focus is on child-related housekeeping and family support that complements my childcare responsibilities.

Travel & extended care

I'm available for extended childcare and travel support, including overnight stays, longer shifts, weekends and accompanying families or children on trips.

I can maintain children's familiar routines while away from home, organise activities and meals, and provide parents with additional support during travel and holidays.

The kind of family I'm looking for

I'm particularly interested in building long-term relationships with families who value reliability, trust, communication and a professional approach.

I'm happy to work as a traditional nanny where childcare is the main focus, but I'm especially interested in positions where I can combine comprehensive childcare with wider family assistance, meal preparation, children's housekeeping and home organisation.

I enjoy being part of a family's support network - someone who understands their routines, anticipates their needs and helps create a calm, organised and happy home environment.

Availability

- Monday, Tuesday & Friday: Available for full days
- Wednesday: Available until approximately 2:00–2:30pm, depending on location
- Thursday: Unavailable
- Evenings and weekends: Available by arrangement
- School holidays: Available for travel nannying and extended family support (school holidays only)

Based in Manchester and available across the surrounding areas.
