My Experience
I have experience working with children across early years, KS1, and KS2 in both educational and childcare settings. My background includes working as a support worker, class teacher, early childhood educator, childcare worker, and learning support professional, where I supported children’s academic, emotional, social, and developmental needs.
In my previous roles, I delivered and supported play-based learning activities that encouraged literacy, numeracy, creativity, communication, and social interaction. I assisted children with daily routines, supervised indoor and outdoor activities, supported positive behaviour management, and helped create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where children could learn confidently and independently.
I also have experience providing emotional support to children, helping them feel comfortable, secure, and engaged. Through my childcare and support work, I developed strong skills in safeguarding, observation, communication with parents, teamwork, patience, and understanding children’s individual needs.
My experience working in schools and childcare settings has strengthened my ability to build positive relationships with children and families while ensuring children’s wellbeing, safety, and development remain the top priority at all times.
