About Me
My name is Eloise. I live in Roade, South Northamptonshire, and I have been driving for 5.5 years. I love the outdoors, I have spent my summers working in Canada as a canoe trip guide, camping and paddling remote rivers in Ontario and Quebec. I have an undergraduate degree in Anthropology, and I am looking to pursue a masters in speech and language therapy. I previously lived in France, and I have stayed close with my host family who have 3 children and a dog who I adore. My au pair experience inspired me to go into speech therapy and made me realise how much I love working with children. I don't mind cleaning and tidying but it is important that my main role is to provide childcare, not housekeeping. I am occasionally free evenings and weekends for babysitting however I am looking for a daytime role.
My Experience
I am an energetic, outdoorsy, and responsible graduate with a strong awareness of children's social, emotional and mental health practices. I have taught a range of interventions in literacy, numeracy, reading, project based learning and gardening, and I have experience teaching English as a foreign language in Barcelona. I also worked as an au pair/ nanny for a year in France, and I have 3 years of babysitting experience during University. I am currently working as a teaching assistant and I am looking for a full time nannying role over the summer before I start my masters in speech and language therapy in September. I am wilderness first aid trained and pediatric first aid trained as well as swift water rescue certification, as I worked as a whitewater canoe trip guide in Ontario, Canada. I love to be active and spend lots of time outdoors, and I enjoy facilitating children's learning through play and exploration.
My Qualifications
First Aid trained. I have 1 year nannying experience, 3+ years babysitting and dog-walking, 1 year teaching assistant (with SEND experience), and I have been trained in providing multiple learning interventions.
My Availability
I am free Monday - Friday 7am-6pm. I can occasionally work evenings and weekends however this would need to be discussed as an additional rate for babysitting.
My Fees
- Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
£13+ per hour. Additional rate for after hours/ overnight.
