About Me
Hi, I’m an 18-year-old reliable, responsible and creative babysitter based in London. I have two years of experience working with children aged 4–11 through my volunteering role at Mitcham Library, where I was a part of arts and crafts sessions and helped create a safe, fun and engaging environment for children. Through this role, I developed strong patience, communication and supervision skills, and my volunteer team was recognised with the 2024 Young Best Volunteer Award for dedication and contribution. I enjoy keeping children engaged through creative activities, reading, educational games and homework support where needed. I am calm, trustworthy and committed to creating a positive and safe environment for every child. I am available Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and would love the opportunity to support families with dependable childcare.
My Experience
I have two years of experience working with children aged 4–11 through my volunteer role at Mitcham Library from 2023 to February 2025. As part of the arts and crafts club, I helped plan and lead creative activities, supervised children during sessions, supported them with tasks, and helped create a safe, positive and engaging environment. This role helped me develop strong communication, patience and responsibility when working with children. My volunteer team was also awarded the 2024 Young Best Volunteer Award in recognition of our dedication and contribution.
My Qualifications
GCSEs passed in English, Maths, Combined Science, Business Studies, Religious Education and Geography.
Currently continuing my studies in Law, Psychology and Business. While I do not currently hold formal childcare qualifications, I have two years of practical experience working with children aged 4–11 through volunteering at Mitcham Library, where I helped lead arts and crafts activities in a safe and engaging environment.
My Availability
I am available full day on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. I am willing to start from next week (18th of May) or even from June (for a fresh start)
My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
£13/hr standard (after-school / daytime)
£15/hr evenings (after 6pm)
£17/hr Sundays / late nights
