About Me
My name is Olivia, I’m twenty and I grew up in Bristol. I’m part of a massive family with lots of younger cousins who I greatly enjoy looking after. I’m studying psychology in university with the intention to work with children from toddlers all the way up to secondary school age, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, to help give them equal opportunity for education. I am also a massive animal lover, and have volunteered both in England and abroad in countries like Lisbon and Spain at animal rescue sanctuary’s.
My Experience
- Worked in a nursery summer camp looking after children ranging from 0-4 years old. Responsibility’s included keeping them engaged with activities such as crafts, sport and messy play, helping them with meals such as lunch, and cleaning up after them!
- Looked after various children for family, most recently an 8 year old boy and a 6 year old girl, both with Autism and ADHD. Responsibility’s included keeping their brains stimulated through fun activities and tasks, getting them sorted with food and meals, reading to them, taking them on walks and supervising them in the park and settling them down for bed.
- Worked as a one to one tutor as part of a program that volunteered to help refugee children. I was buddied with a child (age 12) and would have weekly sessions where I’d help with reading, homework, teaching English as a second language, was available to talk to about general school/life issues, and if needed then to come into their classes and sit with them to help them understand the content.
My Qualifications
I am DBS checked and have done basic first aid courses.

I am available mostly any time between May - end of September
