About Me
Hello, my name is Kenny, and I am the owner of Bright Stars Home Nursery in Sittingbourne. I am a warm, caring and passionate childcare professional who believes that every child deserves to feel safe, loved, valued and supported.
I provide a welcoming home-from-home environment where children can learn, play, explore and develop at their own pace. I understand that every child is unique, so I take the time to get to know each child’s individual personality, interests, strengths and needs.
I have a particular interest in speech and language development and supporting children with additional needs (SEND). I enjoy creating fun, engaging activities that encourage communication, confidence, independence and social development.
I work closely with parents and carers because I believe that strong communication between home and nursery is essential for a child’s happiness and progress. My aim is to give every child the best possible start, while making their early years experience enjoyable, nurturing and memorable.

My Experience
I have a genuine passion for caring for and supporting young children and creating a safe, happy and nurturing environment where they can thrive.
Through my experience with children, I have developed a good understanding of the importance of patience, kindness, consistency and positive communication. I enjoy planning fun, age-appropriate activities that support children’s learning and development, including creative play, stories, music, baking, sensory activities and outdoor play.
I am particularly interested in supporting children’s speech, language and communication development, as well as creating an inclusive environment for children with additional needs.
I understand that choosing childcare is a big decision for parents, so I aim to build strong, trusting relationships with both children and families. My approach is centred around making every child feel valued, confident and encouraged to learn through play
My Qualifications
I am a registered childminder and have completed my childminding training. I hold my Tiney registration certificate and continue to develop my knowledge and skills through ongoing training and professional development.
I am particularly interested in early years development, speech and language development, and supporting children with SEND. I am committed to continuing my professional development so I can provide the best possible care, learning and support for the children in my setting.

- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
My standard childcare rate is £8 per hour.
I offer a warm, nurturing home-from-home environment with a range of age-appropriate activities to support children’s learning, development and confidence.
Funded childcare places are available for eligible children, subject to the relevant funding terms and conditions.
