About Me
Hello! My name is Joyanna, Ive just turned 18 but I’ve been working with children for as long as I can remember. In my family I’ve been the designated babysitter since I was 11. To me, kids are the most precious treasure we have in the world, they are the guarantee of the future. Therefore, I don’t think childcare should be treated like a tedious chore, but as an investment. Children are like mines rich in gems, ready to be discovered and brought to light.Every week, I teach children's classes. Our lessons focus on moral values and teaching the children to have social responsibility. We use storytelling and art to help the children reflect on how to apply the values which we teach them to real life. As time has progressed, I've built relationships with a lot of families from different cultural and religious backgrounds. From this, my patience and communication skills have improved drastically. Especially as I have quite a few neurodivergent children in my classes, I often must adapt to their individual differences and learning difficulties. We are constantly encouraged to reflect on our actions and think deeply about our purpose. We carry out regular service projects that are both practical and meaningful. We've held bake sales to raise money for nearby charities, organised litter picks, and hosted festivals to celebrate and bring the community together.
My Experience

I have no formal childcare qualifications, however i’ve applied for my DBS and it should be arriving soon.

I’m free everyday through the summer
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
Overnight: £70
2 Kids: £20 per hour
3+: £25 per hour
