About Me
We are a warm and easy-going family of four — John and Emma, with our two boys, Henry (6) and Fred (1). We currently live in Riyadh and will be spending July and August in Bath, staying with Emma’s mother and stepfather in the city centre, just off Great Pulteney Street. Emma will be working two and a half days between Monday and Thursday, and we’re looking for a kind, reliable nanny to help support the family over the summer. The role will mainly involve caring for Fred — including playtime, meals, naps, and keeping him happily entertained — while Henry will be spending some time with his other grandparents during the holidays. Both boys are wonderfully well-behaved, happy children, and we’d love to find someone who enjoys engaging with little ones, having fun, and becoming part of a relaxed and supportive family environment for the summer.
My Requirements
We are looking for someone warm, proactive, and experienced with young children to help care primarily for our one-year-old son, Fred, while also occasionally spending time with our six-year-old, Henry. The role will include planning fun and engaging play, taking Fred out for walks or activities, preparing simple meals and snacks, feeding him, and putting him down for naps. We’d also appreciate help with light child-related household duties such as tidying toys and play areas, keeping the kitchen tidy after meals, helping with children’s laundry, and generally keeping things running smoothly during the day. The grandparents will often be around for support, so this is very much a collaborative and relaxed family environment rather than sole charge care at all times. We’re hoping to find someone energetic, caring, and flexible who will enjoy being part of family life over the summer.
