Hello I’m Lois :)
I would like too say I’m a caring, reliable and enthusiastic nanny with a passion for supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing. I currently work within early years childcare at a nursery where I have gained experience creating fun, engaging and safe environments for children of different ages. My speciality would definitely be creating the best tuff trays that are age appropriate while being super fun and supporting the EYFS curriculum supporting individuals learning.
My Experience
I am a passionate and experienced Early Years Practitioner with a particular speciality in caring for babies and children aged 0–2 years. I have over three years of professional experience working in a baby room within a nursery setting, where I have developed a strong understanding of babies’ individual needs, routines, development and emotional wellbeing.
I have achieved two Level 2 Early Years qualifications, both with Distinctions, demonstrating my commitment to providing high-quality care and continuing to develop my knowledge within childcare. I also hold a valid DBS check and an up-to-date Paediatric First Aid certificate.
Throughout my childcare experience, I have built strong, trusting and genuine relationships with the children and families I have worked with. I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident and reassured when leaving their child in someone else’s care, and I always aim to provide a safe, nurturing and positive environment.
I have also gained valuable nannying experience, including caring for a 1-year-old child for a full week while his mum was travelling in Sri Lanka. This involved overnight stays, bedtime routines, preparing bottles, settling him to sleep and following his usual daily routine. I developed an amazing bond with both the child and his family, and I really enjoyed providing consistent, loving care while his mum was away.
My Qualifications
I’m so happy to be able to say I have a level 2 certificate in early years, where I proudly scored a distinction. aswell as holding a in date paediatric first aid certificate, and of course I am in the DBS update services and have a fully clear DBS which is refreshed every year. I have also completed many different courses over the years like food hygiene, blossoming babies and so on! ?
My Availability
I am looking for a full time position in nannying.
My Fees
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
