About Me

Hi I’m jess I’m 19 years of age and live in the huyton area of Liverpool after leaving school I attained my level 2 qualification in the EYFS after spending a short period of time in a work experience placement i then went on to be employed by a private day nursery where I was there for a year. I did a children’s first aid course and I hold an enhanced DBS and my duties were predominantly in the baby room of this establishment, however I did work with older children at toddler and pre school ages. My daily routines in the baby room include: setting up breakfast, nappy changes, daily activities,sleep routines and observation whilst play. Moving forward in my career looking after children 0-5 years I would like to take this opportunity to experience more of a 1-1 approach within individual familys. I am only able to provide childcare within the child’s own home rather than my own as this allows the child to stay comfortable in their familiar surroundings.
