About Me

I am a mum to a wonderful 20 month old boy, we like to spend our time mostly outdoors playing in the garden, and tending to our vegetable garden on nice days and getting cosy with some books and a blanket on rainier days!
I base my parenting/childcaring on a Montessori-ish approach with a focus on healthy attachment and child led interests. I'm a warm and nurturing person who genuinely cares about the children that I look after.

After having returned to the workplace following maternity leave I have found myself yearning to be back with my son and enjoy these fun filled early days as much as possible, so I would love to open my home to some other children who would like to join us!

I am currently exploring what options would work best and what the need is locally for childcare; do you need full time weekly care for your little one? or do you need someone to do early mornings for school drop offs and pick ups (within my village of Culgaith)? or a day or 2 a week? I'm open to options at this early stage, but all options would include my child also being with me and the main location of care would take place in my home.

I currenty attend a range of weekly groups, including forest school, playgroup, library and music groups, and would happily take your child to these also if appropriate.

I'm also open to discussing work as a mothers help; if you're a new mum and would like some additonal support at home, I can help with some home chores, make you a cuppa, be with the baby so you can have a shower in peace, or whatever support you feel like you need.
