About Me
I’m a 29-year-old mum to a happy and energetic 5-year-old boy, and I understand just how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your children. As a parent myself, I know every child deserves a safe, caring, fun, and nurturing environment where they can feel comfortable, supported, and valued.
I’m kind, patient, reliable, and naturally great with children of all ages. I love creating engaging activities, encouraging learning through play, and making sure children feel happy, confident, and well cared for while in my care. Whether it’s arts and crafts, outdoor play, story time, helping with homework, or simply providing a calm and loving atmosphere, I always aim to make each child feel at home.
Being a mum has given me hands-on experience with routines, meal times, emotional support, and understanding the individual needs of children. I’m organised, responsible, and approachable, and I pride myself on building positive relationships with both children and parents.
I’m passionate about providing dependable childcare that gives parents peace of mind knowing their little ones are in safe and caring hands.
My Experience
I have many years of experience working with and caring for children in different environments. Growing up in a foster care household with my parents gave me valuable experience from a young age in understanding children’s individual needs, building trust, showing patience, and creating a safe and supportive environment for children from all backgrounds.
Alongside this, I have worked as a swimming teacher, teaching children of different ages and abilities, helping them build confidence, learn new skills, and feel comfortable in the water while always prioritising safety and encouragement.
I have also worked as a ballroom and Latin dance teacher for children, which has helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, creativity, and the ability to make learning fun and engaging. Teaching dance has allowed me to help children grow in confidence, teamwork, discipline, and self-expression.
Combined with being a mum myself, these experiences have given me a strong understanding of children’s emotional, social, and developmental needs. I am passionate about creating a caring, positive, and nurturing environment where children feel safe, happy, and supported.
My Qualifications
• Level 3 Qualification in Childcare
• Paediatric First Aid Trained
My qualifications, combined with my hands-on experience working with children and being a mum myself, have given me the skills and knowledge to provide a safe, caring, and nurturing environment for children of all ages. I am confident in supporting children’s learning, development, wellbeing, and daily routines while ensuring their safety and happiness at all times.
