My Experience

Alongside raising my own children, I have developed valuable hands-on experience caring for and supporting children through their different stages of development. I understand the importance of routines, consistency, emotional support and creating an environment where children feel safe, secure and valued.

Through my Level 3 Home-Based Childcare training and ongoing professional development, I have strengthened my knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, child development and learning through play. I am confident in planning age-appropriate activities, supporting children’s communication and independence, observing their development and adapting activities to meet their individual interests and needs.

I provide a warm, patient and inclusive approach to childcare and recognise that every child develops at their own pace. I aim to build positive relationships with both children and parents, working closely with families to maintain routines and provide consistent, high-quality care.

My setting offers opportunities for creative play, reading, role play, sensory activities, outdoor experiences and child-led learning, helping children develop confidence, curiosity and important early-life skills.

I prefer this version because it tells parents what you actually do, rather than repeating your certificates again.

My Qualifications

I am an Ofsted-registered childminder and hold a Level 3 Home-Based Childcare qualification, supported by a range of relevant childcare and safety training.

My qualifications and training include:

- Paediatric First Aid
- Food Hygiene and Food Safety
- Safeguarding and Child Protection training
- Enhanced DBS clearance
- Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Child development and supporting children’s learning through play
- Promoting children’s wellbeing, inclusion and individual needs

I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child is supported to learn, develop confidence and feel secure.

As a parent myself, I understand how important it is for families to have childcare that is reliable, caring and responsive to each child’s individual needs.

I am also committed to keeping my knowledge, policies and training up to date so that I can continue to provide safe, high-quality childcare.

My Availability

I offer childcare Monday to Friday, from 7:00am to 6:00pm, including before-school, daytime and after-school care.

I currently offer full-time and part-time places, funded childcare places, and school collections from selected local schools.

I aim to be as flexible as possible to support working families and different childcare needs. Please contact me to discuss your child’s routine, the days and hours you require, and current availability.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
• Childminding from £8.50 per hour

My standard childcare rate is £8.50 per hour, with a minimum booking of 3 hours.
Hourly care: £8.50 per hour, minimum 3-hour booking

Half day: £45 per child, up to 5 hours

Full day (7:00am–6:00pm): £85 per child

After-school care: £25 per child, from school collection until 6:00pm

Babysitting: £13 per hour

Breakfast, snacks, nappies, wipes, planned activities and local outings are included where applicable.

I also accept funded childcare entitlements, subject to eligibility, availability and local authority funding requirements.
