About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder in swanscombe, just 3 minutes walk from swanscombe station. I provide a warm, safe, and nurturing home-from-home childcare service where every child is valued, supported, and encouraged to thrive. My setting offers a balance of learning through play, structured activities, creative exploration, outdoor experiences, and opportunities that promote, confidence, independence, curiosity and social development.
With my background in education, SEND support, and teaching, I understand that every child learns differently and deserves individual attention. I provide inclusive, child-centred care tailored to each child’s interests, developmental stage, and unique needs.
I support children’s communication and language, early literacy and numeracy, personal, social and emotional development, healthy routines, positive behaviour, and school readiness, all within a caring and stimulating environment where children can learn, play, and grow with confidence.
My Experience
I have a strong background in education and SEND support as a Learning Support Assistant and educator. My experience has given me valuable skills in supporting communication, confidence, emotional wellbeing, positive behaviour, and individual learning needs.
Combined with my Level 5 teaching qualification, childcare training, and safeguarding knowledge, I provide a safe, nurturing, and educational home-from-home environment where every child is supported to learn, grow, and thrive with confidence.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified educator with a Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, supported by professional experience in education and SEND support. I have also completed training in Child Development, Paediatric First Aid Level 3, Safeguarding Level 2, food safety and relevant childminding registration training.
My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday.
7:00am to 6:30pm

- Childminding from £8.00 per hour

Funmi is brilliant with our little boy. She has created such a warm and caring setting where we know he is enjoying himself and is looked after. Funmi keeps us updated with all the learning she is providing and absolutely puts our minds at ease. Thank you so much again
