About Me
Im 20, i work with High-5 Sports Camps as a camp assitant, looking after 15-30 kids (with another staff member of course) between 8:00 and 18:00. My biggest goal in life is to be a father. It always has been, my parens filled my childhood with extremely positive memories and my babysitters - from what i can remember, made their nights out easy, relaxing and exactly what it should be, a fun night with no parents!! Iam athletic, patient, have experience with SEN such as autism and ADHD. Those that know me would describe me as Fun, Energetic, and smart. Im an ex Scholarship athlete at south Gloucestershire and stroud univesity, playing american football and studying sports BTEC. I believe this is a deonstration of my dedication i can give to a family that needs me there so they can have a night to themselves. I have all of my GCSES at grade six and above and have studied sport science,psychology, chemistry, biology and business studies as an alevel.
My Experience
As previously stated i work with children aged 3-14 at sports camps, often thinking ok my feet to provide activity for bored kids. My experience ranges from poo explosions to fights, scrapes, and bruises and even love stories! There is really a lot that i have been taught by my employers, working there has been a pleasure and i always look forward to my next shift. As far as SEN goes, i have experience with autism. In the sense of non verbal - making use of macintosh sign language - and in the sense of emotional control issues. While not being trained in restraint i have had to become creative with situation diffusal. It is definitely one of my strong points
