Nanny in London (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
About Me
I grew up in London and have lived here all my life. After finishing school, I went on to study Health and Social Care in college, which helped me realise how much I enjoy working with children and supporting families. I currently work in a private nursery as a Nursery Room Leader. My goal is to continue developing my skills and experience in early years education and build a long-term career working with children. I genuinely love being around children and have always had a soft spot for them. I enjoy creating fun, engaging activities that help children learn through play, which has become second nature to me due to my job. I'm also confident supporting older children with their homework, as I was always a Set 1 student in school myself and enjoy explaining things in a way that makes sense to them. My communication skills help me build trusting relationships with both children and parents. As a bonus, I can also speak fluently in Turkish and a bit of Spanish, which sometimes comes in handy.
My Experience
I’m currently Room Leader at a private nursery I’ve been working for over a year, where I care for children aged 2-5 and support their daily routines, learning and development. We're also planning to welcome 1-year-olds, which I'm very excited about! As the eldest sibling, I've also looked after my two younger sisters from a young age naturally taking on a caring role, helping with daily tasks, their homework, and general care. In addition, I have babysat a few children from my nursery, where my responsibilities included playtime, preparing snacks, following bedtime routines, and ensuring safety and well-being. Alongside childcare, I’ve tutored students preparing for SATs and GCSEs offering tailored academic support and helping build their confidence and understanding. All these experiences have helped me become a confident, caring and reliable childcare provider who puts children’s safety, happiness and development first.
