About Me
Hello I am a professional Childminder and have been for over 22 yrs. I do all the normal activities during the day ie painting, singing, outings, potty training, weaning, reading all the care that a young child needs. I can look after any age child from new born to 12yrs - 5 days a week - 48 weeks of the year. I am open from 7.30am - 5.30pm. I have 1st aid training & safeguarding along with NVQ 3 in childcare. I have just had my Ofsted inspection & I received a strong good :) I love looking after children and seeing them grow into confident strong children, what better job is there!

My son went to Amanda on an ad-hoc basis for a couple of days whilst I was working in Glastonbury. Lovely large home. Very warm and friendly childminder. I would definitely use her again if in the area. Thanks Amanda!

Mandy has been looking after my little one for the last 3 years and she is always been great , Mia didn’t enjoy nursery at the time and was often in tears and this is the reason why I thought Mia would enjoy a smaller environment more. As soon as she started with Mandy the tears were gone, she would look forward to be drop off at Mandy’s 3 days a week and be happy every time I picked her up, Mandy also helped when I started potty training and had lots of suggestions, she is always been very professional, helpful and kind and choosing her rather then nursery was one of the best choice I have done.

Although my two daughters (7 and 1) were only with Amanda for a couple of months, they settled well there and enjoy themselves. Would recommend.

My daughter, Poppy went to Mandy from the age of 9months until nearly 2 when I decided to give up work. In that time she has gone through all the normal changes, moving to solids, learning to walk and learning to talk and these have all been exceptionally supported by Mandy. Poppy loved it there so much she kept asking after Mandy and the boys on our recent holiday. Mandy has also been very flexible with her availability and a great help to us as we negotiate the tricky world of childcare! Thanks Mandy

We have been with Mandy for over a year and we are very happy to have found her and her boys. Daisy, my little girl, spends two days a week with her and couldn't be happier. Mandy is very flexible and accommodating in every way, she provides a great environment for Daisy to play and learn. Daisy's walking, speech and communication skills have come on leaps and bounds since being with Mandy and her confidence around other children of all ages has grown hugely since spending time with Mandy and her boys.
Myself and my husband would recommend Mandy to anyone wanting a loving safe environment for your little one(s).
