About Me
I am a single mum with 3 kids. My eldest is 17, is my step child from a previous relationship, and doesn't live with me full-time, but I still support them whenever they need me. My middle child is my 16 year old nephew, who lives with me full time. My youngest little boy is 8, and lives with me, but sometimes stays away at his dad's house.
I love all of my kiddos and want to do what I can to support their learning and development.
My Requirements
I am currently looking for a tutor for my 8 year old. He has some learning difficulties, including DCD. He struggles to get things down on paper, but is incredibly intelligent and has taught many adults an interesting thing or two. He can struggle in the classroom, but thrives in one-to-one learning, which is why I feel a tutor would be greatly beneficial for him. He can often struggle with English, and can try to avoid English based tasks as a result. STEM is his strong area, particularly mathematics, and biology is an area of interest at the moment; especially animal biology.
I often find myself wishing I did more for my eldest to help him thrive academically, so I am trying to learn from that now that I have the resources and ability to do so.
