About Me
I’m a caring, responsible 20 year old Pakistani with a genuine care for children and a passion for supporting their growth and wellbeing. Growing up with a lot of younger cousins meant that I was constantly on babysitting duty from a young age, which helped me develop patience and strong childcare skills.
My Experience
I have experience teaching and supporting children of various ages at my local madrasah (Islamic institute), which strengthened my patience and ability to work with children of different personalities and backgrounds. In addition to this, I’m a carer for an autistic 50 year old, where I have to provide support for him, prepare meals and provide companionship. These experiences have taught me how to remain supportive and calm in different situations so that the individuals feel respected and safe.
My Qualifications
In terms of academics, I have GCSEs in science, maths, English, Arabic, citizenship, religious studies, as well as A-levels in physics, maths and English literature. I can also speak very basic Urdu and Pashto.
