About Me
Hi, I’m Rachael. I have over 7 years of experience working as a nanny, caring for children from newborns through to 8 years old. Throughout my career I have supported families in creating warm, safe and nurturing environments where children can feel secure, supported and encouraged to grow.
Alongside my nanny experience, I also have 3 years of intensive experience working with children with additional needs as a Preschool Teaching Assistant. This role strengthened my understanding of child development, emotional wellbeing and the importance of adapting care to each child’s individual needs.
I am also a qualified Creative and Therapeutic Arts Practitioner and currently work 30 hours per week at T? Hafan, supporting children and families through creative and therapeutic approaches. My work has given me a compassionate, patient and child-centred approach that I bring into every family I work with.
I am currently looking for additional nanny work on Mondays and/or weekends. I pride myself on being warm, reliable, calm and approachable, and I love building genuine connections with both children and parents. Whether it’s creative play, outdoor adventures, helping children feel emotionally supported, or simply creating a positive and caring environment, I always aim to make children feel safe, happy and valued.

• 3 years of experience working as a Preschool Teaching Assistant supporting early childhood development and learning
• 10 years of experience using art therapy and creative approaches to support children’s emotional wellbeing and self-expression
• Currently working as a Creative and Therapeutic Arts Practitioner at T? Hafan supporting children and families within a hospice setting
• Strong understanding of child-centred, trauma-informed and inclusive care practices
• Warm, patient and nurturing approach with a passion for creating safe and welcoming environments for children
• Experienced in building trusting relationships with both children and families

Art & design diploma. Creative & Therapeutic Arts degree (BA HOND)
My Availability
Mondays & weekends - full day
Evenings Tuesday - Friday after 6pm

- Babysitting from £17.00 per hour
