About Me

We are two professionals working from home in Hammersmith, W6, with our 9.5-month-old son. We are looking for a warm, dependable and highly experienced nanny for a permanent, full-time role starting as soon as possible.

Although we will both usually be at home, we will be working for most of the day. There will be some shared care when we are available, but our nanny will take the lead and have primary responsibility for our son during working hours.

My Requirements

Live Out Nanny
Full Time Nanny

Full-time live-out nanny, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, totalling 40 paid hours per week. Permanent role starting as soon as possible.

The role is primarily focused on attentive, safe and nurturing baby care. Responsibilities will include:

- Managing feeds, naps, outings and his daily routine
- Planning age-appropriate play and activities
- Preparing suitable meals and snacks
- Keeping his play and eating areas tidy
- Cleaning feeding equipment and completing his laundry
- Other light, child-related housekeeping

Someone who enjoys cooking and would be happy to prepare simple, healthy family meals would be a major bonus, but this is not essential.

No driving is required and we do not have any pets. There may occasionally be the option of evening help or travelling with the family, but neither is required. Any additional work would be discussed, agreed and paid separately.

We would particularly like to hear from candidates with strong, recent hands-on experience caring for babies under one. Applicants should have a warm, patient and proactive approach, current paediatric first aid, the right to work in the UK, satisfactory recent childcare references and an appropriate Enhanced DBS check. A formal childcare qualification is welcome but not essential.

Pay is £21 to £23 gross per hour through PAYE, depending on experience and qualifications. The role will include a written contract, statutory paid holiday and pension contributions where eligible.

Please send a short message outlining your recent infant experience, availability for all five days and earliest possible start date.
